Today's Post: Peace Corps is Old
Just a brief and belated post today to celebrate 1 March 2011: the fiftieth anniversary of the Peace Corps. Read President Obama's proclamation here. It is an honor to be in service as we celebrate fifty years in the good work of building international friendship and improving quality of life for those who are in need.
Other important events include my mom and Ben's visit and my attenandance at Shakira's first ever Paraguayan concert appearance. But more on that later. I'm off to turn in a grant application and get some tree seeds from the Instituto Nacional Forestal.
